Imagine standing by your restaurant’s front door while two diners exit with bright smiles and a couple of cheerfully proffered “Thanks!” Many people would quite naturally conclude the couple enjoyed a pleasant and palatable overall experience. It’s easy to begin making assumptions of why any particular diner did or did not have an enjoyable meal. The fact of the matter is, however, without concrete and honest feedback, any and all assumptions are based upon pure conjecture.
